Week 47 addendum - Scrambled, Hard-boiled Eggs

Spencer reminded me when I got home last night that I forgot one thing about the blog last week.

Somehow Spencer got the idea of scrambling an egg within an egg.  He probably got the idea from Wimp.com.   I joke with him that he spends so much time on wimp that he's getting a wimpification - wimp+education

It is amazing how many weird facts the kids learn about on wimp.

Anyway, Spencer spent the better part of a week trying to figure out how to scramble eggs within a hard boiled egg.

It evolved from shaking them for 5 minutes, so spinning them in his sleeves, to eventually creating a contraption that looked like a water balloon launcher.  I think it is two halves of a pop bottle taped together with string on the ends to spin the egg rapidly.

After multiple cracked eggs, eggs exploding in the house, leaking in the water, he was finally successfully with scrambling an egg and then hard boiling it.

The egg comes out yellow and tastes exactly like scrambled eggs.  I guess it is a delicacy in China and they have within the egg scrambling machines!

You'll have to have Spencer make you a scrambled, hard boiled egg when we get home!
