Yesterday mom, Spencer, Jacob, and I went to the store to buy some things for the dinner with the missionaries. We found some small coke.

The missionaries came over yesterday for dinner. We had to make our own cream of mushroom soup because they don't have it here. Mom found a recipe online, and we made it. It was really good!

After dinner the missionaries helped us with our French. They gave us this really good book, that explains the rules. Everything makes a little more sense. With this book and Rosetta Stone we should be able to learn French! The missionaries were explaining that one day after working really hard you will have a "bing" moment. Everything will make sense and you will be fluent. We are all working hard, so we can get the bing moment. I think that Jacob will have the bing moment first because he is so far ahead of all of us.
Ashton likes to play hide-and-go-seek. It is kind of hard to play here in this apartment because we run out of places to hide. But Ashton likes it, because he can hide in small places. One round we could not find him. We looked and looked, but could not find him. We finally gave up, and he showed us where he was. He was in his dresser. We didn't think to look there because all of his clothes were in there. He was smart and took all the clothes out and put them behind my dance bag. Tricky. We all had a good laugh.

Ashton loves Euros. He says he loves them because they are different than American money. He always gets sad when he sees us older kids with more Euros than him. Yesterday was a tough day. He really wanted more Euros. When dad got home, he gave Ashton his extra Euros in his pocket. That made Ashton's day.

Today it was really cold. It started to snow, but not a lot. After doing 3 hours of French, I was bored so we walked to the city center. We went to the chocolate house and got yummy hot chocolate. It was fun walking around looking for souvenirs.
Dad went and got copies of the book the missionaries gave us. Then we all had a French lesson. We learned how to sing the ABC's in French. It is hard and confusing. To help us we sign the ABC's while we say the ABC's in French.
